Julie Lindsay

  • Former Director of E-Learning and Head of Technology at International School Dhaka, Bangladesh. Moving to Head of IT at Qatar Academy, Doha, Qatar in August 2007
  • Implemented the Handheld Initiative For Education (HIFE) at ISD over the past 3 years
  • MA in Education and Human Development in the field of Educational Technology Leadership from the George Washington University, Washington D.C.
  • Presented at NECC06 on Podcast Bangladesh focusing on the school-based use of podcasting in the curriculum
  • Co-founder of the Flat Classroom Project and Horizon Project (online, global collaborative projects using Web 2.0 tools)

Judy Breck

  • Writes about mobile learning and open educational resources in blogs—GoldenSwamp.com, SmartMobs.com and iCommons.org—in Educational Technology magazine, and four books.
  • A fall 2007 release is set for her fifth book, which is about mobiles and the new generations: Intertwingle: a compelling story of what is possible, with a foreword by Howard Rheingold.
  • Consults on mobile learning for Rave Wireless.
  • Advisor and contributor to the World Bank Development Gateway.
  • Recognized by the Industry Standard for leadership (1997-2001) at HomeworkCentral.com, an open content learning website with 35,000 study subjects that received 4 million monthly page views in 2000.
  • Taught high school history for one year in El Paso and coached the Texas State Champion boys debate team.

Graham Brown-Martin

  • Host and chairman of the Handheld Learning Conference (http://www.handheldlearning2007.com), the worlds largest conference about learning while mobile.
  • Developer of RedHalo (http://www.redhalo.com), a device agnostic platform for learning while mobile.
  • Has advised and been involved in many major UK handheld and mobile related projects and initiatives.
  • Has enjoyed extensive career across the education and entertainment technology sectors.
